"Stellar Mercenaries Launches Jupiter Expansion for Vertical-Scrolling Space Shooter"
Get ready to expand your space adventures with the thrilling new Jupiter Expansion for Stellar Mercenaries! This update nearly doubles the game's content, introducing you to a host of new worlds, enemies, and missions that will challenge even the most seasoned mercenaries.
If you're new to Stellar Mercenaries, it's a dynamic vertical-scrolling action arcade space shooter. You'll embark on procedurally generated missions, customize your ships and weapons, and strive to become the most feared mercenary in the solar system.
What’s New in the Jupiter Expansion of Stellar Mercenaries?
The Jupiter Expansion transforms the planet Jupiter and its iconic moons - Ganymede, Io, and Europa - into intense battlegrounds. Each location brings its unique challenges: Ganymede, a barren wasteland; Io, covered in volcanic debris; Europa, frozen and treacherous; and Jupiter itself, teeming with storms.
Two new factions have emerged to complicate your missions. The Jovian Empire, a formidable military power aiming to control the region, and the Pirate Council, a chaotic group of outlaws causing havoc.
With this expansion, Stellar Mercenaries adds 50 new missions featuring diverse objectives. Engage in hyperspace hunting to track elusive targets, tackle piracy missions, protect valuable assets in escort missions, and defend critical infrastructure in train defense scenarios.
The update also introduces six new ships to your fleet: the Raider, Goblin, Mako, Boxer, Lightning, and Skybreaker. Arm yourself with an array of new weapons, including the Hyper Velocity Mortar, Plasma Seeker, EMP Rockets, Mauler Cannon, Electron Beam, and Neutron Beam.
There Are New Hazards, Shields, and More
Enhance your survival chances with the new Tier 4 shields and armor. Navigate through dangerous new hazards like asteroid fields, face off against elite enemy squadrons, and beware of the Pacifier. Some enemy mercenaries have evolved into more formidable opponents with the introduction of the Nightmare, Riot, and Warhawk classes.
To complement your gameplay, the Jupiter Expansion enriches the auditory experience with 14 new music tracks and introduces a new side mission system. Dive into the expanded universe of Stellar Mercenaries by downloading it from the Google Play Store – there's a wealth of content waiting for you!
