Stellar Traveler Is a New Sci-Fi RPG From the Makers of Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat
Stellar Traveler: A Steampunk Space Opera Adventure Now on Android
Nebulajoy, the creators of Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat, have launched their new game, Stellar Traveler, a unique blend of steampunk and space opera, now available for free on Android.
The Story: Captain of a Colonial Squad
Players take on the role of a squad captain stationed on Panola, a human colony planet teeming with colossal mechanical monsters and untold secrets. Your mission: assemble a team, confront alien threats, and unravel a captivating sci-fi narrative.
Retro-Style Gameplay with Modern Twists
Stellar Traveler boasts a retro art style reminiscent of titles like Tree of Savior and Ragnarok, presenting a mosaic-style galaxy. Combat is turn-based with automated battles and offline progression, allowing for advancement even when not actively playing. While the combat itself is somewhat linear, the roster of over 40 heroes, each with unique 3D skills, adds depth.
Character Progression and Customization
Character development involves a grind to unlock a full five-skill combo for six-star heroes (30 levels per skill). However, extensive customization options for your captain's appearance (hairstyle, colors, outfits) offer a rewarding personal touch. See it in action!
Space Fishing and More!
One of Stellar Traveler's most unusual features is its space fishing mini-game. Catch and raise alien fish in your in-game aquarium, boosting your squad's strength and adding a unique decorative element. Numerous puzzles and mini-games further enhance the gameplay experience.
