Street Fighter 6 meta - which characters are most popular on top level
The Capcom Pro Tour has concluded, revealing the 48 competitors for Capcom Cup 11. While the world's best players are undoubtedly exciting, let's shift our focus to their character choices.
Following the World Warrior circuit's conclusion, EventHubs compiled statistics on the most frequently used Street Fighter 6 characters at the highest competitive level. This data offers a valuable insight into the game's current balance. Remarkably, all 24 fighters saw representation, though only one player opted for Ryu amongst nearly two hundred participants (analyzing data from eight regional finalists across 24 regions). Even the recently added Terry Bogard was selected by a mere two players.
Dominating the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each chosen as a main character by 17 players. A significant gap follows, with the next tier consisting of Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (11 each), and JP and Chun-Li (10 each). Among the less popular choices, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each selected by seven players.
Capcom Cup 11 is set for Tokyo this March, with a million-dollar prize awaiting the champion.
