Supercell Unveils Project R.I.S.E. from Clash Heroes' Ashes

Supercell, the renowned Finnish developer, recently made a surprising announcement. After confirming the shutdown of their RPG, Clash Heroes, they've now revealed plans to revive it in an innovative new form. Enter Project R.I.S.E., a thrilling new venture set within the beloved Clash universe.

Clash Heroes is officially no more. Echoing the fate of Clash Mini, it has been discontinued. However, Supercell isn't leaving fans in the lurch. Clash Heroes is set to be reborn as Project R.I.S.E., a social action RPG roguelite, promising a fresh take on the classic Clash experience.

In the announcement video for Project R.I.S.E., game lead Julien Le Cadre was candid. "Clash Heroes is dead. That's the bad news," he stated. "The good news is that Project R.I.S.E. is still a Clash game, and the better news is that it's now a multiplayer-focused action RPG."

Project R.I.S.E. diverges from Clash Heroes by embracing a social action RPG roguelite format, crafted from the ground up. Players will join forces with two others to navigate The Tower, a mysterious setting where each session unfolds on a new floor. The objective? Ascend as high as possible. Unlike its predecessor, Project R.I.S.E. emphasizes cooperative gameplay with diverse characters, moving away from solo PvE dungeons.

Currently in its pre-alpha phase, Project R.I.S.E. is gearing up for its first playtest in early July 2024. Enthusiasts can sign up on the official website for a chance to participate in this early stage of development.
