After Yasuke learns about dangerous figures from his past operating in Japan, players must hunt Templar targets listed on the Templar Hunt Objective Board during the Yasuke's Past quests. Here's how to locate and eliminate every Templar operative in Assassin's Creed Shadows, beginning with Kimura Kei.

Locating Kimura Kei in Assassin's Creed Shadows

The first clue about Kimura Kei's whereabouts comes from a ronin at Takahara Village along central Nakahechi Route. Locate the inn near a cherry blossom tree marked with green flags - the ronin inside wears Oda Clan colors. He'll direct you to a recruiter named Kumabe Ujiie.

Finding Kumabe Ujiie

Kumabe Ujiie roams a cemetery northeast of Kongobuji Temple in northern Kii, accompanied by his ronin entourage. Don't attack them - instead, approach Ujiie and select "I seek guidance" when prompted. Follow him to receive Kimura Kei's location.

Eliminating Kimura Kei

Kimura Kei operates at a training ground southwest of Kii, midway between Sazae Oni Shores and Nakahechi Route. Upon arrival, follow the students to trigger an ambush - Kimura Kei will recognize Yasuke and order his disciples to attack.

After defeating multiple waves of attackers (utilize explosive barrels strategically), you'll face Kimura Kei in a mandatory boss battle:

• Phase 1: Standard katana attacks - focus on parries and posture damage
• Phase 2: Dual-wields long and standard katanas with unblockable attacks (prioritize dodging)
• Final Phase: Moves outdoors, gains devastating dual-sword combos (recommend ranged attacks)

Kimura Kei Rewards

Victory grants 3,000 XP, currency, plus the Destroyer Samurai Armor (reduces damage impact) and Helmet (+10% damage per 10% missing health).

Tracking the Silver Queen

After defeating the Shinbakufu, investigate the Silver Queen's operations supporting Portuguese forces in Tamba.

Meeting the Informant

A spy waiting under a wooden structure in Silver Lands (southeast Tamba) provides the Queen's location. Find him seated on a rug near crates.

Encountering the Silver Queen

She meets Portuguese soldiers in Tada village. After conversing (accept her tea invitation), Yasuke awakens captive in Tada Silver Mine.

Escaping the Mine

Break through the door and either fight or stealth your way southwest through the tunnels to freedom.

Rescuing Akechi Mitsuyoshi

The Silver Queen demands Yasuke rescue her brother from Kameyama Castle in exchange for information.

Storm the castle (stock up at Senneji Temple's Kakurega if needed) until finding a dying servant who gives a key to the Tenshu.

Freeing Mitsuyoshi

Open the marked castle door and escort Mitsuyoshi while eliminating threats with ranged weapons (tebow/bow recommended). Later recover his sword from Baltazar before reuniting at Atago Shrine.

Assassinating Nuno Caro

The final target prepares to flee from Takeda Castle.

Navigate the heavily guarded mountain fortress (disable alarm bells immediately). After breaking through double doors:

• Nuno wields sword/pistol combo
• Block/parry four-sword combos
• Dodge red-glowing gunshots
• Alternate abilities and heavy attacks

Complete this final assassination to finish the Templar Hunt.
