Obtaining the magnificent Stormcrow mount, Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, in World of Warcraft is a rewarding endeavor. While not the first raven mount, its Siren Isle origins and unique acquisition method make it highly sought after. This guide outlines the steps to acquire this impressive flying mount.

Thrayir's acquisition is tied to the Seafury Tempest event on Siren Isle, part of the War Within expansion. This event has multiple phases; you'll need to collect items during the Storm phase.

Collecting the Runekeys:

To summon Thrayir, you must gather five Runekeys:

• Whirling Runekey: This drops from Ksvir the Forgotten, a rare spawn in the Forgotten Vault's southernmost room during a Storm.

• Torrential Runekey: Collect seven Torrential Fragments from any enemy on Siren Isle during a Storm phase.

• Thunderous Runekey: Gather five Thunderous Fragments from any chest on Siren Isle (Storm phase not required for chests).

• Cyclonic Runekey: Obtained through fishing anywhere on Siren Isle during a Storm, or as a possible drop from Zek’ul the Shipbreaker in the Deadfin Mire.

• Turbulent Runekey: Requires three Turbulent Fragments found in specific locations near Kul Tiran ghosts:

  • Behind the abandoned inn, dig in the garden.
  • Inside a cave in the Rotting Hole zone (ghost is cowering).
  • Inside the Spirit-Scarred Cave (ghost offers the fragment).

The Final Ritual:

Once all Runekeys are acquired, return to the Forgotten Vault only during the Seafury Tempest phase. Entering during other phases won't trigger the ritual. Proceed to the vault's eastern room.
