My Time at Sandrock Opens Recruitment for an Exclusive Android Beta Test
My Time at Sandrock Mobile Beta Launches in China!
Exciting news for fans of My Time at Sandrock! A closed Android beta test is coming soon, exclusively for players in China. While this is great news for the game's mobile expansion, the limited regional availability is a slight drawback.
For the uninitiated, My Time at Sandrock is a charming farming and life simulation RPG, a sequel to the popular My Time at Portia. Released on PC in 2023 by Pathea Games (published by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment on Steam), it's now making its mobile debut, handled by Conscience Studio in China for this beta.
My Time at Sandrock Android Beta Test Details:
This marks the first mobile beta for the game. The developers describe it as a technical trial, focusing on optimizing the game's extensive content for mobile devices. Expect some performance adjustments during this phase, particularly regarding resource loading.
The beta, a small-scale test, will run on the Haoyou Kuaibao platform. Chinese players have until January 22nd to apply, with the beta itself starting January 23rd. Save data will be wiped at the test's conclusion. However, participants will experience the first 30 days of gameplay (covering the initial 13 chapters). Interested players can find the application details on the official beta test page.
The Story:
My Time at Sandrock is set in a post-apocalyptic desert, 300 years after the devastating "Day of Calamity" which crippled advanced technology. Players take on the role of Sandrock's newest Builder, tasked with resource gathering, crafting, building relationships with townsfolk, and even battling monsters. The game boasts a distinctive, endearing art style.
