Clash Royale players finally have reason to celebrate as the Inferno Dragon receives its long-overdue Evolution upgrade. Following nearly a decade without significant changes, this fiery Legendary creature gets a substantial power boost. Supercell commemorated the occasion with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola starring in a creative promotional campaign.

The Inferno Dragon's Evolutionary form brings transformative changes to its combat effectiveness. While the original version reset damage accumulation when switching targets, the upgraded version maintains its escalating damage output across multiple enemies.

Inferno Dragon Evolution Ignites Fresh Clash Royale Season

Titled How to Evolve Your Dragon!, the new season introduces the Inferno Dragon Evolution along with the return of 2v2 League play. Players can team up with friends or random partners to advance through the competitive ranks.

Milestone Events kicking off from Arena 7 offer rewards including 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and unique cosmetic items.

Crown Chase #1 delivers an exclusive Battle Banner complete with frame decoration plus another Epic Book of Cards. Crown Chase #2 follows with additional Battle Banner rewards and 3 Evolution Shards.

Developers have scheduled multiple Game Modes and Challenges throughout June and early July to showcase the Evolution mechanics. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft runs June 2-9, succeeded by the Inferno Dragon Challenge from June 6-9 featuring special Battle Banner and Emote prizes.

Evolution Mayhem from June 9-16 permits decks with up to 4 Evolution Cards. Magical Trio follows June 16-23, then 4 Card Showdown June 23-30. Evolution Bonanza concludes the event cycle June 30-July 7 allowing decks packed with up to 8 Evolution Cards.
