"Torchlight: Infinite Unveils Sandlord Update, New Character Thea, and $250K Prize Pool"
A week after its initial tease, the latest update for Torchlight: Infinite has arrived, ushering in the season of Sandlord to the ARPG. With this new season comes an array of exciting new mechanics, inviting players to build and expand their empire within the Cloud Oasis to maximize their loot.
In the Cloud Oasis, you can gather resources and bolster your empire. Take on the challenge of new regions to test your skills, and complete tasks for a chance to win big. By defeating enemies in the Netherrealm, you'll earn valuable resources that can be used to unlock bonuses, establish trade routes, and reap economic rewards across five distinct professions.
Joining the fray is the corrupted divine channeler Thea, armed with a formidable Desecration skill perfect for those who favor damage-over-time strategies in combat. As the saying goes, the Dark Side does have cookies, and Thea's addition only proves that sometimes, being bad can be so good.
The Deep Space region has undergone a significant overhaul to keep gameplay fresh and exciting. A new reward modifier item, called Probes, has been introduced to boost rewards. However, be warned—monsters in this region are now tougher, meaner, and riskier, requiring you to hone your strategic skills to survive each run.
This update also introduces new Legendary Stages and the Sea of Rites. Here, you can take down non-aggressive Goblins, offering you a chance to summon a secret boss. Additionally, the Sands of Fortune event, running until May 1st, encourages you to tackle new tasks for a shot at a $250,000 cash prize pool.
If you're eager to dive into all the fun this ARPG offers, you can download Torchlight: Infinite from the App Store and Google Play. It's free-to-play with in-app purchases, ensuring everyone can join in on the action.
