Trinity Trigger: Action RPG Inspired by Secret of Mana Hits Android

Dec 06,25

Furyu Corporation, a Japanese game developer, has released Trinity Trigger, an action RPG, on Android. Initially launched on consoles and PC with Xseed Games as the Western publisher, Furyu has taken the reins for the mobile version, self-publishing the title.

What’s the Plot of Trinity Trigger?

You play as Cyan, a young hero destined to confront the Warrior of Order as the chosen Warrior of Chaos. Journeying through the vibrant land of Trinitia, Cyan teams up with Elise and Zantis.

These allies fight alongside him, supported by Triggers—beast-like companions that morph into eight unique weapon types. During battles, you can seamlessly switch between characters to adapt your tactics on the fly.

The narrative embraces classic JRPG themes, weaving tales of fate, lost memories, and a world on the brink of turmoil. Expect a familiar setup with bustling towns, engaging NPC dialogues, and immersive dungeon exploration.

Trinity Trigger’s dungeons, formed from the remnants of divine weapons called Arma, are packed with puzzles, hidden secrets, and formidable foes. The landscapes vary from snowy plains to arid deserts.

How Does Combat Work?

The combat system centers on the Weapon Wheel, enabling swift weapon switches to target enemy vulnerabilities. You can enhance your equipment using resources gathered throughout your quest.

With fully voiced dialogue and polished animated cutscenes, Trinity Trigger delivers a visually rich story. Players can control three characters, each wielding nine weapons and unique skills.

Curious? The game is available on the Google Play Store for $19.99, a premium price for a mobile title.
