Ubisoft Launches Animus Hub, Uniting Assassin's Creed

Feb 22,25

Ubisoft's new Animus Hub, a central control center for the Assassin's Creed franchise, simplifies access to the series' extensive library of games. Launching alongside Assassin's Creed Shadows, the Hub acts as a central launchpad for titles like Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, Mirage, and the upcoming Hexe.

This strategy mirrors that of successful franchises like Battlefield and Call of Duty. Through Animus Hub, players seamlessly launch any of the aforementioned games. Furthermore, the Hub introduces unique "Anomalies," special missions within Assassin's Creed Shadows. Completing these Anomalies rewards players with cosmetic items or in-game currency, usable for acquiring new outfits and weapons.

Beyond game launching, Animus Hub provides enriched content. Players can delve into journals, notes, and other materials detailing Assassin's Creed's modern-day storyline, enriching their understanding of the overarching narrative and connections between games.

Assassin's Creed Shadows transports players to feudal Japan, immersing them in the political machinations and conflicts of the samurai era. The game is slated for release on March 20, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
