UFO-Man: A Physics-Based Puzzle Game Set to Launch on Steam and iOS
Indie developer Dyglone has unveiled their upcoming physics-based puzzle game, UFO-Man, slated for release on Steam and iOS in mid-2024. The deceptively simple premise—transporting a box using your UFO's tractor beam—masks a brutally challenging gameplay experience.
Players must navigate intricate levels filled with treacherous terrain, precarious platforms, and speeding vehicles. The absence of checkpoints adds another layer of difficulty; dropping the cargo means restarting the level from the point of the mishap. Inspired by the Japanese bar game "Iraira-bou," UFO-Man promises a high degree of frustration.
However, the game's low-poly aesthetic and calming soundtrack aim to offset the intense difficulty. A "Crash Count" feature tracks the number of collisions, encouraging players to strive for perfection.
