UniqKiller: A Customizable Top-Down Shooter Hitting Mobile and PC

Making waves at Gamescom Latam, UniqKiller, developed by Sao Paulo-based HypeJoe Games, is a top-down shooter emphasizing extensive character customization. Its prominent yellow booth at the event attracted significant attention, with demos consistently drawing crowds.

HypeJoe aims to differentiate UniqKiller in the competitive shooter market through its unique isometric perspective and robust customization features. While the top-down view offers a fresh angle, the game's true strength lies in its player agency. The developer highlights the 2024 gamer's desire for individuality, promising extensive options to create truly unique characters, or "Uniqs."

Customization extends beyond aesthetics. Gameplay unlocks further personalization options, allowing players to tailor their Uniqs' skills and combat styles to their preferred play.

The multiplayer aspect includes clans, clan wars, special events, and missions. HypeJoe emphasizes fair matchmaking to ensure balanced gameplay for players of all skill levels.

UniqKiller is slated for mobile and PC release, with a closed beta scheduled for November 2024. Keep an eye on Pocket Gamer for updates and an upcoming interview with HypeJoe Games for more insights.
