How To Unlock the Fire Seal in Fields of Mistria
Following the March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, players can now unlock the Fire Seal after clearing the previous altars. To unlock it, you'll need to offer four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here's a detailed guide on acquiring each item and successfully unlocking the Fire Seal.
Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria
The Faceted Rock Gem, a rare artifact, is located within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure your game is updated, and navigate to Floors 50-59. We discovered the gem on Floor 56 after some digging. To find it, dig in marked areas on the ground using your pickaxe or shovel. Be prepared to spend time searching due to its rarity.
Where to Find Rockroot in Fields of Mistria
Rockroot is a common forageable item found between Floors 50-59 in the mines. It's likely you've already collected it if you're a frequent mine explorer. Look for a dark, root-like plant as shown in the image above. Only one Rockroot is needed to fulfill the requirement for the Priestess’ altar.
Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria
Emeralds are the easiest items to obtain for the Fire Seal offerings. You can find Emerald geodes in the mines between Floors 50-59, or gather them by breaking large boulders around Mistria. They're also available at Balor’s Wagon for just 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the Stone Refinery with the March 2025 update, you can craft Emeralds yourself to save time.
How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria
To obtain the Sealing Scroll, the final item required to unlock the Fire Seal, start a quest by meeting with Juniper after discovering the seal. Recruit Balor to order the scroll, but be ready to pay a price. You'll need:
- x10 Silver Ingots
- x10 Rubies
- x10 Sapphires
- x10 Emeralds
If you lack any of these items, they can be found in the mines. Once you have the required materials, deposit them in the bin by Balor’s Wagon to receive the Sealing Scroll.
Unlocking the Fire Seal
With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to make your offering. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, granting access to a new biome and more content during Early Access.
NOTE: *Fields of Mistria* is currently in Early Access, and content is subject to change. The information provided here is accurate as of Version 0.13.0 and will be updated if necessary.
*Fields of Mistria* is available to play now in Steam Early Access.
