What Is High Rank in Monster Hunter Wilds?

High Rank is where the true Monster Hunter challenge begins. Expect tougher monsters with increased health, damage, and a shorter fuse. This also unlocks new weapon tiers and a whole new class of armor—the rewarding grind that defines the Monster Hunter experience for many.

High Rank significantly expands Monster Hunter Wilds' gameplay. The game's regions shift between two dynamic states, cycling through different weather conditions (like dust storms on the plains) once you reach High Rank. A day-night cycle is also introduced, adding depth and variety to your hunts. Prepare for a wave of new monsters and variations of familiar foes.
