6 ImagesThese five cards form a "cycle," each connected by a shared design philosophy across Magic's color spectrum. They are all cost-effective, common-rarity creatures, each with an ability linked to one of Tarkir’s three-color clans, and another that allows you to convert mana into a color from that clan.

“Three-color limited environments require robust mana fixing at all levels of rarity,” explains Wizards of the Coast Senior Game Designer Adam Prosak. “Our goal was to ensure that numerous decks could benefit from mana fixing, leading us to craft several designs specifically for this purpose. These creatures not only help with mana development but also allow players to advance their board presence simultaneously—unlike tapped lands, which only provide mana and can put you at a disadvantage while fixing your mana.”
