Waven: Global MMO Strategy Game Launch!
Waven, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular MMOs Dofus and Wakfu, has quietly launched globally on the iOS App Store and Google Play. While available on Android and iOS for some time, the worldwide release has now officially arrived.
For those unfamiliar with its predecessors, Dofus and Wakfu are long-running MMORPGs with a dedicated fanbase, even inspiring a successful animated series. Though not as globally dominant as World of Warcraft, they've enjoyed considerable success since their early 2000s debut.
While sharing the same rich world, Waven introduces a new region and aims to attract both newcomers and longtime fans. Longtime players will appreciate numerous references to the series' history, while the game's strategic PvE combat is designed for a more solo-focused experience.

The understated global launch might seem anticlimactic, but the Wakfu and Dofus series has always cultivated a strong, albeit often under-the-radar, following. This worldwide release offers increased visibility for the titles, especially in non-English-speaking regions.
