Wizardry Variants Daphne revitalizes the iconic Wizardry series that pioneered first-person dungeon crawling and ignited a fantasy resurgence in Japan. It's no wonder Drecom Co. enthusiastically adapted it for mobile devices. Now, just in time for summer, players can dive into a series of new campaigns featuring a brand-new legendary adventurer.

This update introduces Aldric, the Crow Master of Fortune. Breaking from the typical dwarf archetype, Aldric isn't a brute-force warrior. Instead, he excels in stealth, agility, and deftly avoiding traps.

Aldric's signature ability lets him execute a precise, though lower-damage, strike that subsequently boosts his evasion. His loyal crow companion retaliates whenever Aldric is hit. He also steadily enhances his Detect, Evade Trap, Disarm Trap, and Trapophobia Tolerance skills, making him nearly immune to all but the most trap-infested passages.

A murder of crows

Aldric will be obtainable through the limited-time events "Unique Remains: Crow Master of Fortune" and "Remains of the Crow Handler Who Took Revenge on a Cult," running until July 9th. His gear—the Raven Dagger, Sooty Cloth, and Old Perch—can be drawn from the "Unique Remains: Crow Master of Fortune (with bonus)" event.

Be sure to log in regularly over the next few weeks. Special supplies, events, and limited-time missions focused on Aldric will be available starting June 25th and July 2nd. Also, look out for the newly added legendary quest for players who have Yekaterina in their party, introduced in this update.
