Following Pocket Gamer Connects London, we got hands-on with some exciting new game releases. One standout was WordPix, a captivating word-based puzzle game.

WordPix presents players with images and challenges them to guess the associated words. The gameplay is straightforward; a scaly creature might be a "Lizard," while a specific rodent could be a "Capybara." While not overly complex, it's an engaging way to sharpen your mind on the go.

To keep things interesting, WordPix offers diverse game modes. These include solo and multiplayer options, "Beat the Boss" challenges, and daily puzzles featuring a "Word of the Day" and "Quote of the Day." A Sudoku mode is also included, providing ample variety.

WordPix's appeal is clear: a clean, user-friendly interface, an accessible yet challenging core concept, and plenty of variations to maintain player engagement. We anticipate further content additions from the developers following its global launch this year. Currently, it's available on iOS in the US and UK, and on Android in the UK.
