WoW Patch 11.1: New Character Customization with a Catch
Summary
- Noggenfogger Select elixirs in WoW can adjust character height for customization, stackable up to 10 times.
- Noggenfogger Select potions offer subtle changes to character height, while providing a temporary customization option.
- Patch 11.1, Undermined, introduces new story twists for The War Within and updated visuals for WoW classes.
World of Warcraft is enhancing character customization with the introduction of two new consumable potions: Noggenfogger Select UP and Noggenfogger Select DOWN. These elixirs allow players to adjust their character's height slightly, offering a temporary yet affordable way to personalize their avatars. Each potion can be stacked up to 10 times, providing a noticeable yet subtle change in height that lasts for 30 minutes and persists even after death. This makes them perfect for roleplaying, dungeons, raids, or capturing memorable screenshots.
Patch 11.1, known as Undermined, is now available on the Public Test Realm, giving players a sneak peek at the upcoming content. This patch not only brings dramatic plot twists to the ongoing saga of The War Within but also includes updated visuals for many World of Warcraft classes, promising an enriched gaming experience.
The Noggenfogger Select potions can be purchased from Alchemist Pestlezugg in the Vatworks, the main Steamwheedle Cartel hub in the new Undermine zone, for just over three gold each. These potions are not bound or level-locked, making them easily tradable among characters of any level.
World of Warcraft Height-Adjustment Items in Patch 11.1
While other items like the Elixir of Giant Growth or the original Noggenfogger Elixir offer more drastic size changes, the Noggenfogger Select potions provide a more refined approach. Even at the maximum of 10 stacks, the height difference is only a few inches, as demonstrated in screenshots from Wowhead. This subtlety makes them ideal for players seeking less dramatic alterations to their character's stature.
Additionally, Alchemist Pestlezugg offers Noggenfogger Select FRESH, a potion exclusive to Goblins, which allows them to perform a stylish, NPC-only lean emote. While many other races have similar emotes in the game files, only Goblins can access this one through the new consumable.
The World of Warcraft community is buzzing with excitement over these new tonics, though many express a desire for a more permanent height adjustment solution. A height slider seems unlikely without a major character customization overhaul. In the meantime, players can use items like the Seabed Leviathan’s Citrine in Cyrce’s Circlets, play as Colossus Warriors, or rely on Noggenfogger Select and similar consumables to control their character’s height.
