WoW Unveils Epic Timewalking Adventure
World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Turbulent Timeways Returns!
World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, offering a whopping seven weeks of Timewalking campaigns, running until February 24th. Prepare for a whirlwind tour through WoW's history, earning valuable rewards along the way.
This extended event builds upon the success of the September 2023 iteration, which featured five weeks of Timewalking. This time, players can amass Timewarped Badges, enjoy an experience buff, and complete quests and activities across various expansions. The key is the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff: complete four Timewalking dungeons to unlock a 20% experience boost!
The Timewalking Adventure Awaits:
The seven-week journey begins with Mists of Pandaria (January 7th-13th) and concludes with Cataclysm (February 18th-24th). Each week features a different expansion, offering a diverse range of dungeons and raids.
Here's the complete schedule:
- January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
- January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
- January 21-27: Legion
- January 28-February 3: Classic
- February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
- February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
- February 18-24: Cataclysm
Rewards Galore:
Achieve Mastery of Timeways for five out of the seven weeks to unlock the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement and claim the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount! Timewalking vendors boast new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. The Sandy Shalewing pet, previously unavailable, also makes a return. Furthermore, completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest yields Heroic gear throughout the event.
A Busy Start to 2025:
With the recent 20th-anniversary event's 11 weeks of Timewalking and the ongoing Plunderstorm event, players will experience a remarkable 18 consecutive weeks of Timewalking! The Turbulent Timeways' conclusion on February 24th hints at future plans. Given WoW's typical release cadence, this strongly suggests that Patch 11.1, "Undermined," will launch on February 25th, approximately 10 weeks after Patch 11.0.7. Combined with the second Plunderstorm run and the upcoming War Within update, World of Warcraft is setting the stage for a thrilling start to 2025.
