Game Pass Adds New Titles in Early January

Xbox Game Pass Kicks Off 2025 With Exciting New Additions
Microsoft has unveiled the first wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for January 2025, featuring anticipated games like Road 96, My Time at Sandrock, and the classic Diablo. Subscribers should note that six games will be departing the service this month, including Exoprimal and Those Who Remain.
January's Gaming Lineup
While rumors had circulated about potential additions, Microsoft's official announcement confirms the complete January schedule. The year begins strong with these seven titles coming to the subscription service:
- Road 96 (Available now)
- Lightyear Frontier (Preview - January 8)
- My Time at Sandrock (January 8)
- Robin Hood - Sherwood Builders (January 8)
- Rolling Hills (January 8)
- UFC 5 (January 14, Game Pass Ultimate only)
- Diablo (January 14, Ultimate/PC Game Pass only)
Subscription Tier Considerations
Not all games will be available to every subscriber level. The Standard tier offers access to most titles, while UFC 5 requires Game Pass Ultimate, and Diablo is limited to Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. Microsoft simultaneously announced new Game Pass Ultimate perks, including exclusive in-game items for popular titles like Apex Legends.
Departing Titles
Six games will exit the service on January 15:
- Common'hood
- Escape Academy
- Exoprimal
- Figment
- Insurgency Sandstorm
- Those Who Remain
This announcement covers only the first half of January's additions and removals. Subscribers can expect another update later this month regarding the remainder of January's lineup and early February titles.
