Xbox's Developer_Direct is back! Tune in on January 23rd, 2025, for a sneak peek at some of 2025's most anticipated Xbox titles, including a completely unannounced game.

The showcase will feature in-depth looks at upcoming games, their development, and the teams behind them. Four games will be highlighted: three already announced, and one mystery title.

Featured Games:

• South of Midnight (Compulsion Games): An action-adventure game set in a mystical, hurricane-ravaged American South. Players take on the role of Hazel, who must master magic ("Weaving") to combat mythical creatures and rescue her mother. Launching in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S and Steam.

• Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Sandfall Interactive): A turn-based RPG with real-time combat elements. Players join Gustave and Lune as they attempt to stop the Paintress, a being who erases people from existence. Launching in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

• DOOM: The Dark Ages (id Software): A prequel to Doom (2016), this first-person shooter places the Doom Slayer in a techno-medieval setting. Expect intense combat with a variety of weaponry, including a throwable bladed shield. Launching in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Steam.

• The Surprise Game: Xbox is keeping this one under wraps! All details will be revealed during the Developer_Direct.
