Yu Suzuki Unveils New Android Game: Steel Paws
Are you a fan of action RPGs and looking for something new to dive into? Look no further than Steel Paws, a thrilling new game exclusive to Netflix subscribers on Android. Crafted by the legendary Yu Suzuki, the mastermind behind classics like Virtua Fighter and Shenmue, this game lets you embark on an epic journey up a giant tower with an army of battle-ready robot cats at your side.
What’s the Story?
In Steel Paws, you step into the shoes of a purple-haired warrior clad in a mechanical suit, ready to take on robotic enemies. Accompanying you are your Buddy Robots, loyal cat-like machines that double as your fiercest weapons. These feline companions can be launched into enemies with team attacks, turning them into furry missiles.
The adventure begins when an ancient tower suddenly erupts from the ground, sending shockwaves across the world. Drawn by a mysterious floating stone adorned with cryptic markings, your hero ventures inside. However, upon entering, her robotic feline crew is immediately captured. A sinister, unseen voice challenges her to fight her way to the top of the tower if she hopes to rescue her friends. Thus begins your ascent, battling floor by floor through an army of mechanical foes while unraveling the tower's hidden mysteries.

Steel Paws Is a Sci-Fi Fantasy
The combat in Steel Paws is designed to be fluid and engaging, with a combo system that rewards well-timed strikes and strategic use of special moves. Each attack from your robotic cat companions is accompanied by a mighty meow, adding to the fun and excitement.
The game offers checkpoints midway through each stage, providing a bit of a breather so you don’t have to start over from the beginning if you're defeated. You can also adjust the difficulty to suit your skill level.
Adding to the replay value, Steel Paws incorporates roguelike elements. This means that every time you replay a stage, aspects such as enemy placement, resources, and map layouts will change. The environments also vary, introducing unique hazards like shifting sands or slippery ice to keep you on your toes.
At its heart, Steel Paws is all about fast-paced melee combat. If you're a Netflix subscriber, you can experience this exciting game on the Google Play Store.
While you're here, don't miss out on the latest news about Back 2 Back, a new two-player co-op game that's also generating buzz.
