The story centers on Riko, a young orphan residing in the town of Orth, which is perched on the edge of a colossal vertical chasm known as the Abyss. This mysterious and dangerous place is teeming with ancient technology, bizarre organisms, and an enigmatic allure that has claimed countless explorers.

Riko's ultimate goal is to follow in the footsteps of her mother, Lyza, a revered White Whistle Cave Raider who vanished into the depths of the Abyss. Together, they embark on a perilous descent into the Abyss, fully aware that their journey might be one-way.
