Camping Guide for Atelier Yumia: Alchemist of Memories
Embarking on your journey through the Ligneus Region with Yumia and her companions, you'll soon discover the joys of setting up camp to bond with your team. Understanding the when and where of camping can be a bit tricky, but here's a clear guide on how to camp in *Atelier Yumia*.
How to Craft a Camping Set in Atelier Yumia
The first step to camping is unlocking the ability to craft Camping Sets through Simple Synthesis. This becomes available after you clear the manabound Dux Lighthouse, marking your initial foray into these mystical areas. Once you've established a base on the newly uncovered land, return to the Ligneus Survey Base and have a chat with Erhard to unlock the camping feature.
To craft a Camping Set, you'll need the following materials:
- 5% Energy
- 3 Wood
- 2 Water
- 5 Fiber
- 2 Charcoal
These resources are easily accessible around the Ligneus Survey Base. Water can be sourced from wells scattered throughout the region or by harvesting plants along riverbanks, which also provides fiber. Charcoal is a byproduct of mining ore.
Once you've gathered these materials, navigate to the Simple Synthesis menu. Ensure you have a 4×4 space free before crafting your Camping Set. Without sufficient space, the set will be stored in your stash at the Atelier or one of your bases.
Where to Camp in Atelier Yumia
With your Camping Set ready, you can pitch camp in any open area of land. Narrow cliffs and dense forests won't do; you'll need a relatively clear space. There are numerous designated campsites, like the River Campsite near Ligneus Survey Base, where you can set up a temporary base.
If you're carrying a Camping Set in your Exploration Bag, open the radial menu to check the bottom right corner. If the Camping option is highlighted, you're good to set up camp. If it's greyed out, you'll need to find a more suitable spot.
What to Do While Camping in Atelier Yumia
Camping isn't just about rest; it's your only chance to cook the food you gather during your adventures. It's a crucial step before tackling bosses or venturing into manabound areas, especially on higher difficulty settings.
Additionally, camping offers a unique opportunity to engage with your companions through special dialogue. While not critical to the storyline, these interactions deepen your relationships and understanding of your team.
And that's everything you need to know about setting up camp in *Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land*.
*Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land* is now available on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
