Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is facing serious challenges, while its competitor, Marvel Rivals, thrives. Leading YouTubers and competitive players are expressing deep concern over a significant decline in player engagement. Several content creators have ceased producing Black Ops 6 content altogether, highlighting the game's current struggles.

Call of Duty legend, OpTic Scump, has publicly declared the franchise to be in its worst state ever. He attributes this largely to the premature launch of ranked mode, coupled with a severely ineffective anti-cheat system, resulting in rampant cheating.

Streamer FaZe Swagg dramatically quit Black Ops 6 mid-stream due to persistent connectivity problems, immediately switching to Marvel Rivals. His stream even incorporated a live counter showcasing the frequency of hacker encounters.

Adding to the woes is the significant weakening of the zombies mode, hindering the acquisition of desirable cosmetic items. The game is saturated with cosmetic purchases, prioritizing monetization over substantial gameplay improvements. This situation, while understandable given the franchise's history of massive budgets, is nonetheless alarming. Player loyalty is finite, and the game appears to be teetering on the brink of a major crisis.
