"Dark Phoenix Saga Launches in Marvel Contest of Champions with Jean Grey and Bastion"
Kabam is rolling out exciting updates to Marvel Contest of Champions, launching the Dark Phoenix Saga, introducing new Champions, and unveiling a novel character type called Eidols. This month also highlights the powerful women of the superhero fighter, offering players a chance to influence an upcoming Champion rework.
Jean Grey and Bastion are the latest Champions to join The Contest, each bringing their unique abilities and a captivating new storyline. You can recruit Jean Grey starting March 13th, followed by Bastion on the 27th. Before their arrival, the Dark Phoenix Saga begins on March 3rd, featuring Jean Grey and the X-Men battling dangerous variants in a thrilling new quest.
The lore of Marvel Contest of Champions will expand with the introduction of more Eidols to further the Founders' storyline. Following the debut of Isophyne in December 2024, three more Eidols will be introduced throughout 2025, each with a unique sourcing system. The next Eidol, Lumatrix, arrives on March 5th and will be available until June 4th.
Lumatrix, designed by The Founders, is a master infiltrator with skills in spying, sabotage, and assassination, executed with unmatched precision. Crafted from ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix possesses remarkable light manipulation abilities. While it dazzles with its performance, beneath lies a ruthless weapon designed to eliminate enemies covertly.
