- Winning Strategies for Clash Royale's Dart Goblin Evo Draft Event
Clash Royale's latest event, the Dart Goblin Evolution Draft, runs from January 6th for a week. This event centers around the newly introduced Evo Dart Goblin. This guide provides a complete overview to help you maximize your success.
How the Clash Royale Dart Goblin Evolution Draft Works
The Dart Goblin's evolution is finally here! Similar to the Giant Snowball evolution event, Supercell lets players experience the Evo card in a draft format. The Evo Dart Goblin's enhanced power makes it a formidable challenge.
Stat-wise, the Evo Dart Goblin closely resembles its standard counterpart in Hitpoints, Damage, Hit Speed, and Range. However, its poison ability is a game-changer. Each dart inflicts poison damage on the target area, proving highly effective against swarms and even tank units like the Giant. This allows for advantageous elixir trades.
Despite its strength, simply selecting the Evo Dart Goblin doesn't guarantee victory. Strategic deck building is crucial.
Winning Strategies for Clash Royale's Dart Goblin Evo Draft Event
The Dart Goblin Evo Draft event lets players use the Evo Dart Goblin, regardless of whether they've unlocked it. Like other draft events, you construct your deck on the fly for each match. The game presents two cards, and you choose one for your deck; your opponent receives the other. This process repeats four times, demanding careful consideration of both your deck synergy and your opponent's potential build.
Card choices range from air units (Phoenix, Inferno Dragon) to heavy hitters (Ram Rider, Prince, P.E.K.K.A.). While deck building presents a challenge, securing your main card early allows you to focus on complementary support cards.
One player receives the Evo Dart Goblin; the other might get cards like Evo Firecracker or Evo Bats. Remember to include a strong spell card. Spells like Arrows, Poison, or Fireball effectively counter the Dart Goblin and many air units (Minions, Skeleton Dragons), while also inflicting significant tower damage.
