"Death Stranding 2: Bypass Bosses Without Fighting"
In the eagerly awaited sequel, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2), players can now experience boss encounters in a whole new way. DS2 introduces a feature that lets players bypass traditional combat with bosses, offering instead a visual novel-style narrative. This innovative approach was revealed by Hideo Kojima during the latest Koji Pro radio broadcast on April 14. Kojima shared that players who choose to press "continue" on the game over screen after failing a boss fight can opt out of combat. Instead, they'll be treated to images and text descriptions of the battle, ensuring they don't miss out on crucial story elements.
Death Stranding 2 Development Updates
New Feature Allows Players To Clear Bosses Without Combat
The new feature in DS2 is a game-changer, especially for players who might feel overwhelmed by boss fights. By choosing to continue after a game over, players can skip the combat and still enjoy the narrative through visual novel-like snippets. This not only makes the game more accessible but also enriches the storytelling experience.
Death Stranding 2 Around 95% Complete
Excitingly, Hideo Kojima announced that DS2 is now 95% complete. In his words, "It’s at about 95% now… It feels like it is 10 o’clock (PM), speaking of 24 hours, Koji Pro’s DS2 is at 10 o’clock (PM), there are 2 hours left." This suggests that the game is nearing its final stages of development. Following directly from the events of the first game, DS2 promises to continue the gripping storyline that fans have come to love.
At the recent South by South West (SXSW) event, Kojima Productions and Sony unveiled a 10-minute trailer for DS2. This trailer not only showcased the game's story but also introduced new characters, sparking excitement among fans. Notably, a character resembling Solid Snake was spotted, adding to the anticipation. Additionally, details about DS2's collector’s edition and pre-order bonuses were revealed, providing fans with even more reasons to look forward to the game's release.
