Delta Force Deploys to Mobile with Global Launch
Garena is bringing the tactical FPS, Delta Force (formerly known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops), to a global audience. A PC open beta launches December 5th, 2024, with mobile platforms following in 2025. Developed initially by NovaLogic and later taken over by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of Call of Duty Mobile), the game now sees Garena as a key partner for its global release.
Delta Force will feature cross-progression between PC and mobile. A phased rollout is planned, beginning in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa in 2025.
The game offers two primary modes:
- Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air, with squads of four.
- Operations: A three-player extraction shooter mode focusing on high-stakes missions, loot scavenging, and tense escapes against the clock. Players can acquire and trade loot, including a rare MandelBrick item unlocking exclusive skins (though its acquisition broadcasts your location).
The game boasts enhanced visuals and retains the tactical gameplay of its predecessor. For fans of the original 1998 release, Delta Force promises a nostalgic yet modernized experience.
A trailer showcasing the game is available on Garena's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/embed/cgJEwW4y_JI?feature=oembed
Further details can be found on the official Delta Force website.
