"Effective Strategies to Level Up Sinners in Limbus Company"
Quick Links
In Limbus Company, the level of your Sinners significantly impacts their combat prowess. Just like in other RPGs, you'll need to focus on leveling up your team to progress through the game and tackle challenging content. Even the strongest Sinner Identities won't stand a chance against formidable foes if they're underleveled. For those new to the game, here's a concise guide on how to efficiently gain XP for your characters.
With the anticipation of games like Ananta and Neverness To Everness on the horizon, there's a growing desire for a high-quality anime-style game that isn't reliant on gacha mechanics. While HoYoVerse games satisfy the gacha craving, a triple-A experience similar to these, but free from RNG monetization, would be a welcome addition to the gaming scene.
Combat and Grinding --------------------For new players, the primary way to earn XP is through combat. Every Sinner in your team gains XP after successfully clearing a combat encounter, whether they participated in the fight or not. However, those who actively fought will earn more XP. As with many free-to-play gacha games, this method can be slow, and as battles become tougher, you'll need more efficient ways to level up.
Once you reach the midpoint of Canto 2, you'll unlock the Luxcavation mode. This feature allows you to challenge specific enemies for a variety of rewards. While the fights themselves provide decent XP, the real value lies in the consumable items you can obtain, which are essential for leveling up.
Using Consumable Items
If grinding XP manually isn't your style, you can use Level Boost Tickets and Identity Training Tickets to level up your Sinners' Identities more efficiently. These consumables, available in various rarities, are specifically designed for character leveling.
Identity Training Tickets
Identity Training Tickets provide a flat amount of XP to an Identity, similar to level-up materials in games like Honkai Star Rail or Genshin Impact. They're excellent for reducing the XP grind, but you'll need a substantial number to fully level a character. These tickets come in four tiers, each offering increasing amounts of XP:
- Identity Training Ticket I: 50 Identity XP
- Identity Training Ticket II: 200 Identity XP
- Identity Training Ticket III: 1000 Identity XP
- Identity Training Ticket IV: 3000 Identity XP
You can acquire these tickets primarily by farming the EXP Luxcavation stages. They're also available through the free and paid Limbus Passes and periodic attendance check events.
Level Boost Tickets
Level Boost Tickets instantly elevate your Sinners' Identities to a specific level, bypassing the need for XP. These are highly valuable and much rarer than Identity Training Tickets, serving as a shortcut to leveling. They're mainly obtained through the Limbus Pass and occasionally during attendance check events, and cannot be farmed. Different Level Boost Tickets will raise your characters to the following levels:
- Level Boost Ticket I: Level 10
- Level Boost Ticket II: Level 20
- Level Boost Ticket III: Level 30
- Level Boost Ticket IV: Level 40
As of now, Identities can reach a maximum level of 50. Strategically using both Level Boost Tickets and Identity Training Tickets can help you level up multiple characters simultaneously.
To use these consumables, navigate to the Sinners menu and long-press the portrait of the character you wish to level up.
