Fauna Update Adds "Friends of Fauna" Feature
New Friends of Fauna feature launches as in-game community program
- Players can submit photos of animals they admire
- Monthly selection transforms favorite image into special puzzle
Since its February release, The Art of Fauna has established itself as one of mobile gaming's most elegant and contemplative puzzle experiences. The developers are now enriching the community experience with their new Friends of Fauna initiative, available as a free in-app feature.
The program offers a delightful monthly ritual: submit any animal photo - be it wildlife, working animals, or cherished pets - and witness how one selected image inspires that month's featured puzzle. The first chosen artwork, currently available, transforms a photograph of a Spectacled Bear contributed by community member Denis B. into a captivating puzzle.
Additional personalization comes through new themed app icons honoring active community members. Valentin's icon features an elegant Snow Leopard, Vidit and Benedict share a Lion representation, while Shiven gets an Orca and Thomas's icon sports a Northern Gannet.

For newcomers, The Art of Fauna presents a meditative puzzle experience blending classic wildlife illustrations with accessible gameplay options. Players can approach each puzzle either by reconstructing the visual image or assembling accompanying animal descriptions - an educational journey through nature's wonders.

Every puzzle draws inspiration from historical scientific illustrations by legendary naturalists like John James Audubon and John Gould, preserving both artistic heritage and ecological appreciation. The game also supports real-world conservation efforts, donating a portion of all proceeds to wildlife protection initiatives globally.
Join the Friends of Fauna community by submitting your animal photos via the in-game link. The first 10 levels offer free gameplay, with full access available through a single in-app purchase. Visit the official website for complete details on this meaningful puzzle experience.
