Genshin Impact 5.7 Update Introduces Skirk, Dahlia, and New Gameplay Modes
HoYoverse has announced the latest update for Genshin Impact, Version 5.7, named A Space and Time for You, set to launch on June 18th. This update introduces new characters, advances the storyline, unveils a fresh combat mode, and includes a strategic mini-game crafted by the Sumeru Akademiya.
Skirk Debuts in Genshin Impact 5.7!
Skirk, a cryptic figure linked to the Abyss and known as Childe’s mentor, brings a distinctive combat style with dual fighting techniques. Her unique mechanic, Serpent’s Subtlety, adds depth to her gameplay.
Joining her is Dahlia, a new 4-star Hydro character serving as the Deacon of the Church of Favonius. His abilities focus on support. The first phase of Version 5.7 features Skirk, Dahlia, and a Shenhe rerun, while the second phase reintroduces Mavuika, the Pyro Archon, and Emilie.
Check out these characters below.
What’s Next for the Story?
The update picks up from the Bedtime Story quest, deepening the Traveler’s journey alongside their sibling as the Abyss Order stirs in Natlan. Tensions rise on both fronts, with Mavuika and her allies preparing for battle, while Dainsleif emerges in a new form to aid the Traveler.
The Sumeru Akademiya introduces a simulated adventure event blending tactical choices with unpredictable elements. Players can form a team of Companion Pieces and select either a rainforest or desert path.
Version 5.7 also launches Stygian Onslaught, a permanent mode featuring three rotating bosses across six difficulty levels. Rewards include Artifacts and Dust of Enlightenment, a new item for re-rolling substats on Level 20 Artifacts.
Additionally, Travelers’ Tales: Gilded Chapter offers a new series of lighthearted stories across Teyvat, spotlighting characters like Thoma, Neuvillette, and Dori in their own short narratives.
Download Genshin Impact from the Google Play Store and prepare for Version 5.7.
