GTA 5 Enhanced Joins Xbox Game Pass PC in 2 Weeks
Microsoft is set to bring Rockstar Games' iconic title, *Grand Theft Auto 5*, to Xbox Game Pass, with the enhanced version of GTA 5 also coming to Game Pass for PC on April 15. This exciting news was shared through an Xbox Wire post, highlighting that this blockbuster addition is part of the Wave 1 April 2025 lineup. The PC Game Pass version will include the newly released Enhanced update from Rockstar, which was rolled out in early March.
According to Xbox, "No matter what version you’re playing, everyone will have access to *Oscar Guzman Flies Again*, the latest update where you can take to the skies — taking control of the McKenzie Field Hanger in Grapeseed." This update introduces new arms trafficking missions, new aircraft, and more, promising an enriched gameplay experience.
The return of GTA 5 to Game Pass after its previous removal is a significant event, especially since it marks the first time the title will be available on PC Game Pass. However, the excitement is tempered for some fans due to ongoing issues. The GTA 5 Enhanced update, which arrived on PC on March 4, brought new vehicles, performance upgrades at Hao’s Special Works, animal encounters, and visual enhancements. Despite these additions, the update led to GTA 5 becoming Rockstar’s worst-reviewed title on Steam due to persistent account migration problems affecting GTA Online players.
Newcomers to Los Santos should have a smooth experience, but returning players hoping to migrate their GTA Online accounts to the Enhanced version may face challenges, as the migration issues remain unresolved.

As Rockstar continues to address the challenges with GTA 5's return to Game Pass, you can explore the rest of the Wave 1 April 2025 titles coming to Xbox Game Pass. Additionally, Rockstar is showing support for the modding community by providing them with official tools, enhancing the creative possibilities within the game.
