New Gyarados-Themed Recreational Space Revealed

Pokémon Center Hiroshima will cease operations at its current site in late March 2025 before reopening approximately one month later at its new premises. Simultaneously, the nearby Gyarados Plaza project is scheduled for unveiling in March, as confirmed on the official store website.
The new store location will occupy "Ekie's second floor near Hiroshima Station's north exit, with reopening planned around April 2025." Originally established in June 2015, the current store occupies the sixth floor of Sogo Hiroshima's Main Building adjacent to RIHGA Royal Hotel and facing Hiroshima Prefectural Office.

The eagerly anticipated "Gyarados Plaza by Pokémon Center Hiroshima" will emerge atop Soramoa Plaza within Minamoa - Hiroshima Station's new commercial complex. Official descriptions portray this unique space as "an interactive environment where visitors of all ages can engage with Pokémon through diverse experiences, featuring oversized Gyarados-themed play structures honoring Hiroshima's signature Pokémon."
Scheduled for March 24, 2025 opening, Gyarados Plaza will initially require advance reservations for play equipment access. Complete operational details will be published on Minamoa's official website.
Current store hours remain Monday through Sunday, 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM for visitors exploring Hiroshima.
