Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9: Cosmic Chaos Arrives December 3rd!

Get ready for a celestial shake-up! Hearthstone's Battlegrounds mode is launching Season 9 on December 3rd, bringing a universe of changes, updates, and exciting new features. Prepare for a revamped Tavern with cosmic vibes, cutting-edge tech, and a completely overhauled minion lineup.

Key Changes:

Bob's Technotavern is getting a major upgrade! Season 9 resets ratings and bids farewell to Trinkets, replacing them with exciting new Battlegrounds Tokens. These tokens allow you to reroll your hero choice at the selection screen – perfect for escaping those less-than-ideal options.

Minion Reveal Schedule:

Before the full launch, Hearthstone is unveiling new minions in stages:

• November 20th: Naga and Dragon reveals.
• November 21st: Quilboar and Beast reveals.
• November 22nd: Pirate and Duos-only reveals.
• November 25th: Murloc and Demon reveals.
• November 26th: Elemental and Undead reveals.
• December 2nd: Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes.

More New Additions:

Season 9 introduces three brand-new heroes, with Farseer Nobundo already generating considerable buzz with his Galaxy's Lens ability. Nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells are either joining or leaving the game's pool.

Solo Battlegrounds games will also see a damage cap adjustment: 5 damage in the early game, increasing to 10 by turn 4 and 15 by turn 8. This cap is removed once you reach the top 4.

Release Schedule:

• December 3rd: Official launch with Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs.
• December 5th: Murlocs and Demons added to the minion pool.
• December 9th: Undead and Elementals join the fray.
