A recent update for Helldivers 2, including the highly anticipated Illuminate enemy faction, the 4x4 Fast Recon Vehicle, and new urban warfare maps, has significantly boosted player numbers on PS5. The update, a surprise reveal at the 2024 Game Awards (shadow-dropped as "Omens of Tyranny"), has been well-received.
