Jupiter Expansion: Stellar Mercenaries' Biggest Update Yet
Stellar Mercenaries has just launched its most expansive update to date with The Jupiter Expansion, nearly doubling the game's content. This thrilling update introduces over 50 new missions spread across five different worlds, along with six new weapons and ships, and a brand-new side mission system. Dive into the heart of the action as you navigate the conflict between the newly introduced Jovian Empire and the Pirate Council, two factions vying for dominance around Jupiter and its moons.
The Jupiter Expansion enriches your gameplay with a variety of mission types, including escort operations, piracy, train defense, and hyperspace hunts. With the addition of six new ships—the Raider, Goblin, Mako, Boxer, Lightning, and Skybreaker—you can tailor your fleet to suit your preferred playstyle, each ship offering unique abilities and configurations.
Combat dynamics are further enhanced with the introduction of six new weapons: the Hyper Velocity Mortar, Plasma Seeker, EMP Rockets, Mauler Cannon, Electron Beam, and Neutron Beam. Defensive capabilities are upgraded with Tier 4 shields and armors, while new special abilities and mods such as Drones, Point Defense, Critical Strike, and Missile Fire Rate offer fresh strategic options.
Enemy encounters have become more challenging with the addition of Nightmare, Riot, and Warhawk-class mercenaries, formidable foes that adapt and evolve alongside your progress. The update also introduces dynamic environmental hazards like asteroid fields, elite enemy ambushes, and the menacing Pacifier lurking in deep space.
Beyond the main campaign, the new side mission system keeps the gameplay fresh and unpredictable. Immerse yourself further with 14 new music tracks that enhance the sci-fi atmosphere. Additionally, the Hangar Manager now allows for more effective management of your arsenal, expanding both inventory and loadout slots.
Prepare for intense dogfights over Ganymede, Europa, Io, and Jupiter itself. Download Stellar Mercenaries now on your preferred platform—it's free-to-play with in-app purchases. For more information and to stay updated on all the latest developments, visit the official website.
