LEGO Nintendo Speculation: Which Franchise Is Next?
Nintendo and LEGO have teamed up to produce some fantastic LEGO Nintendo sets. Last year alone saw the release of the interactive Mario and Yoshi set and the first-ever LEGO Legend of Zelda set. However, many other iconic Nintendo franchises remain untapped.
Currently, the LEGO lineup heavily features Mario (including Donkey Kong) and Animal Crossing. This leaves many fans, myself included, wanting more. Therefore, I ask: Which Nintendo franchise deserves the LEGO treatment next?
AnswerSee ResultsWhat Do You Think? With the upcoming Switch 2, anticipation for future Nintendo LEGO sets is high, especially given Nintendo's investments in film (the new Mario movie and the eventual live-action Zelda adaptation) and upcoming Switch games. What franchises do you predict will be LEGO-fied in 2025 and beyond? Share your thoughts in the comments!
Personally, I believe Metroid would be a fantastic choice. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, it presents a prime opportunity for impressive LEGO builds. Additionally, I'd love to see official LEGO Pokémon sets, rather than the existing MEGA sets, although licensing agreements may present a challenge.
