Troubleshooting Marvel Rivals Season 1 Launch Issues

The highly anticipated Marvel Rivals, featuring Marvel Universe heroes, has launched Season 1. However, some players are experiencing difficulties. This guide provides solutions for common Marvel Rivals Season 1 launch problems.

High player volume at launch often overwhelms servers in free-to-play games. Here's how to address potential issues:

1. Verify Server Status: Check the official Marvel Rivals social media (e.g., X) for updates on server outages. Third-party services like Downdetector can also provide server status information.

2. Ensure Game Update: Confirm your game is fully updated to the latest version before attempting to play.

3. Restart the Game: A simple restart can often resolve minor glitches preventing game launch. Multiple attempts might be necessary during peak launch times.

4. Check Your Internet Connection: Marvel Rivals requires a stable internet connection; offline play isn't supported. Restart your modem/router if necessary.

5. Take a Break: High player volume on launch day can lead to persistent connection issues. Stepping away for a while and trying again later might be the most effective solution.

Marvel Rivals is available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
