Marvel Snap's US removal follows the TikTok ban. ByteDance, TikTok's parent company and also the parent company of Second Dinner (Marvel Snap's developer), has pulled several of its gaming titles, seemingly in response to the ban. The game's future availability on US mobile platforms remains uncertain.

The TikTok ban, fueled by concerns from US politicians about potential foreign influence, has broader implications, impacting all ByteDance-published apps. ByteDance's action could be interpreted as a form of "malicious compliance," effectively leveraging the ban to generate negative public reaction and raise awareness of the issue among gamers.

The removal of Marvel Snap and other ByteDance apps is likely to cause significant backlash from fans. The lack of prior warning from ByteDance may have been a deliberate tactic to amplify this reaction.

For a detailed understanding of the ban, refer to the official Congressional website. Players outside the affected regions can continue enjoying the game and consult our Marvel Snap card tier list to build powerful decks.
