Baseball Hall of Fame Enhances MLB Rivals with Legendary Players
- 17 iconic player cards introduced
- Recruit six legends to your team during the event
- Additional Hall of Famers to join in upcoming updates
MLB Rivals recently named Phillies star Bryce Harper as its cover athlete, setting the stage for a major update. This week, Com2uS partners with the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, introducing 17 legendary player cards and dynamic commentary from two renowned broadcasters.
The latest MLB Rivals update welcomes Hall of Famers such as Derek Jeter, Greg Maddux, Jack Morris, and Tony Pérez as powerful new cards. Each features unique skills, team versatility, and a new Potential system, offering greater growth potential than standard Special Cards. These additions allow players to craft dream lineups that span baseball’s rich history.
During the event period, players can log in to instantly add one of six Hall of Famers—Jeter, Maddux, Raines, Sutton, Pérez, or Morris—to their roster. These cards offer flexibility, allowing reassignment to various teams and positions to mirror the legends’ real-world adaptability, empowering players to customize their squads with unprecedented freedom.
The update also brings play-by-play commentary from Joe Davis, the voice of the Dodgers and FOX Sports’ lead MLB announcer, alongside color commentary from former pitcher Orel Hershiser. Their authentic, broadcast-style delivery adds vibrant energy to every game, enhancing the on-field experience.
