Monopoly lets you do your part to save the whales in latest partnership
Marmalade Game Studio has joined forces with Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) to offer Monopoly enthusiasts an opportunity to contribute to marine life conservation through an exciting new bundle. By purchasing the WDC bundle, fans can support a noble cause with their Monopoly earnings. A minimum of £1,000 from the initial £3,000 in sales will be donated directly to the charity, with 10% of all subsequent proceeds also going to support WDC's efforts.
The WDC bundle includes the Atlantis board, perfectly aligned with the marine life theme, along with two unique tokens: the Blue Whale token and the Silver Dolphin token. These additions not only enhance the gaming experience but also symbolize the commitment to protecting our oceans.
Radu Rovin, Head of Studio at Marmalade Game Studio, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, *"We’re thrilled to have the chance to work alongside the leading charity dedicated to protecting whales and dolphins. With the support of MONOPOLY’s incredible community, we’re helping whales and dolphins thrive."*
Human activities such as pollution and hunting have significantly threatened marine life, including whales and dolphins. WDC is dedicated to countering these threats, striving for a future where "every whale and dolphin is safe and free."
