InZOI director confirmed some of the features wishlisted by community
This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year with a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before embarking on their holiday, the project lead, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, provided an exciting update on the much-anticipated features that fans have been eagerly requesting for the game, detailing which of these will be implemented and to what extent.

In InZOI, players will have the innovative ability to use real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. This feature, which was highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, is set to be further simplified, as emphasized by Kjun, to make the process of creating zois even more user-friendly. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to include their own pets in the game, although this feature will not be available during the early access phase. Fans will need to exercise a bit of patience, but the wait will be worthwhile, especially considering Kjun's personal passion for animals.
The game environment will feature tall buildings, with a cap set at 30 floors. While the game engine is capable of supporting higher constructions, this limitation has been implemented to address potential performance issues, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience for all players. InZOI will also include gas stations and introduce a combat system. Kjun acknowledged that the initial slap mechanic felt too superficial to players, and in response to their feedback, the game will now feature more comprehensive fights, complete with clear outcomes for winners and losers.
Recognizing that many newcomers to the genre will be trying InZOI, the developers have thoughtfully included a tutorial to help ease players into the game. This level of consideration is certainly commendable and reflects the team's commitment to player satisfaction.
As of now, Krafton is on track to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently anticipated. This update from Kjun not only showcases the team's dedication to incorporating player feedback but also builds anticipation for what promises to be an engaging and immersive gaming experience.
