引擎刀可以在工厂找到，但你不能在游戏开场时获得它。你需要等到之后以2B的身份返回，之后任何时候都可以找到它。玩家也可以使用章节选择模式直接跳到第9章，以2B的身份返回后，只需几分钟的游戏时间即可获得它。首先，你需要快速旅行到或从工厂：机库的访问点开始，该访问点位于工厂的中间部分。
从访问点所在的房间出来，沿着右边的路径走，你会看到一个2D视角的镜头。你首先会经过一个围起来的区域，然后爬上一些破损的楼梯，并走到一个装有箱子的传送带上。下一个传送带会有压机，如果你被压机压到，就会被杀死。穿过这个传送带，跳到下一个圆柱体上，那里有两个蜘蛛状的敌人会掉下来。
进入后，从你进入的左边门走，爬上更多的楼梯，楼梯上会有爆炸的敌人下来。当你走到一半的时候，会有一个栏杆停止的地方，平台会向镜头延伸。朝镜头走去改变镜头角度，你将会有另一个2D平台跳跃区域，你需要沿着压机的顶部跳跃，沿着左边的路径走。最后是一个房间，里面有三个宝箱，引擎刀在左边的宝箱里，右边的宝箱是锁着的。
需要注意的是，一旦你靠近宝箱，更多的爆炸敌人将会从天花板上掉下来。

- 攻击力：160-200
- 连击：轻击5次 重击3次
这把武器可以升级四次，最终轻击连击次数将达到7次，不过你需要找到正宗才能进行这些升级。与铁管不同，这把武器的伤害波动较小，对于那些想要更好地估计自己造成的伤害的人来说，这是一个更好的选择。
