Does Pity Carry Over in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium? Answered
Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?
Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, Sunborn's free-to-play tactical RPG for PC and mobile, incorporates gacha mechanics. A common question among players is whether the pity counter transfers between banners. The answer is: Yes, for limited banners.
Your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner will carry over to the next. During the global launch, the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners demonstrated this. Pity progress accumulated on either banner, regardless of which you chose. Reaching near-pity on one allowed immediate switching to the other for a 50/50 chance at the featured character. This applies to all future limited banners, confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. Unused pity on past limited banners will transfer to new ones.
However, pity does not carry over between limited and standard banners. You cannot manipulate the system by pulling on the standard banner until near-pity and then switching to a limited banner.
While hard pity is 80 pulls, soft pity begins at 58. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances gradually increase until hard pity is reached.
This clarifies the pity system in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox locations, check out The Escapist.
