With a rumored March 2025 launch date, leaks have proliferated, detailing potential hardware and features. Third-party developers and insiders have reportedly shared images of the console itself, adding to the buzz. Information regarding the Joy-Con's retention and color schemes has also surfaced. New images, posted on the r/NintendoSwitch2 subreddit by user SwordfishAgile3472, purportedly originating from a Chinese social media platform, provide the clearest view yet of the controllers.

These images, subsequently shared widely across social media, seemingly confirm the rumored magnetic connection for the Switch 2's Joy-Cons. Instead of the traditional rail system, these images suggest a magnetic attachment mechanism, eliminating the need for physical contact.

Decoding the Joy-Con Leak:

The leaked photos showcase a primarily black Joy-Con with blue accents, reminiscent of the original Switch's color scheme. The images, however, only reveal the side and back of the controller, limiting a full view of the color distribution.
