"Schedule I Update 0.3.4: New Pawn Shop, 'Fancy Stuff' Added"
The much-anticipated 0.3.4 update for the viral hit drug dealer simulator, Schedule I, has been released by developer Tyler after a brief testing phase. The update, detailed in Steam patch notes, marks the first major content expansion since the game's explosive launch into early access on March 24. This update introduces a variety of new features including a functional pawn shop, a boutique store, and various wall decorations among other enhancements.
In a post on Steam, Tyler expressed his apologies for the delay in the update's release, stating, "I'm still ironing out the update/testing process." He reassured the community that starting next month, he will implement larger monthly updates to ensure a smoother and more timely release schedule. Looking ahead, Tyler emphasized his focus on addressing remaining bugs, which he listed as top priorities:
- Ensuring consistent employee performance without issues.
- Preventing save game corruption and disappearance by improving the save file format in collaboration with Valve, to better integrate with Steam Cloud saves and reduce corruption risks.
- Reducing disconnections and loading issues in multiplayer mode.
Additionally, Tyler mentioned his goal to optimize the game further and achieve Steam Deck verification, using this as a benchmark for performance.
