Sony has officially announced a State of Play showcase scheduled for tomorrow, June 4.

In a PlayStation Blog post, Tim Turi, content communications manager at Sony Interactive Entertainment, revealed that viewers can look forward to "news and updates on must-play games coming to PS5." Turi added, “The presentation will spotlight an exciting lineup of titles from developers around the world.”

The show, which runs over 40 minutes, begins on June 4 at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 11pm CEST.

While details remain sparse, there is strong anticipation for a deeper look at Sucker Punch’s PlayStation 5 exclusive sequel, Ghost of Yotei, slated for an October release.

Could the event also feature updates on Insomniac's upcoming Wolverine game, or new projects from Sony’s renowned internal studios? This includes Sony Santa Monica (God of War), Bend Studio (Days Gone), and Guerrilla, which is reportedly developing a multiplayer spin-off from the Horizon series.

Marathon, from Sony-owned Bungie, is still in development, though its presence remains uncertain following the studio's recent art plagiarism controversy. Fairgames—now proceeding without Jade Raymond at the helm—continues to be in the works. Last month, Sony introduced a new PlayStation studio named teamLFG and teased its first project, a live-service incubation title.

Additionally, the showcase could highlight games from external developers that Sony is publishing, such as Phantom Blade Zero.
